Chatham Hospital Cardiac Rehabilitation
Our cardiac rehab program can help you get better after a stroke, heart attack or heart surgery. We can also help you live with chronic heart failure. All you need to get started is a referral from your doctor. Cardiac rehab is designed to help you keep up with your health issues and lower your chance of having heart attacks and strokes.
Conditions We Treat
Patients who get referred to cardiac rehab have had these conditions or procedures:
- Coronary artery bypass surgery
- Coronary revascularization using a minimally invasive procedure
- Chest pain
- Heart or heart-lung transplant
- Heart valve repair or replacement
- Heart attack in the last year
- Recent stroke (women only)
- Stable chronic heart failure
