Dr. Kavita Arora

UNC Health Chatham is pleased to announce that Dr. Kavita Arora, MD, MBE, MS, is joining UNC Specialty Care at Chatham and our surgical services program on January 8, 2026. Dr. Arora is a recognized expert in disparities surrounding sterilization and reproductive bioethics, with significant roles in national ethics committees and organizations like the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American Medical Association. She has been honored as a leader in minority health and is passionate about contraceptive care, LGBT health, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Arora holds a Master of Science in Clinical Research and a Master of Bioethics, alongside her medical degree, and is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
