UNC Health Chatham is excited to announce the return of Dr. Felicia Swinney, DMD, MS. Dr. Swinney 

Dr. Swinney will bring her expertise in pediatric dental surgeries from her community practice to the hospital, further strengthening our healthcare services and reinforcing our commitment to meeting the needs of Chatham County.

Dr. Felicia Swinney is a board-certified pediatric dentist originally from Augusta, GA. She received her undergraduate degree from Berea College in Kentucky and went on to receive her Dental Medicine Degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Swinney served as a dental officer in the U.S. Army, where she completed the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Residency Program and provided care for soldiers in various places including the United States, Korea, and Iraq.

Dr. Swinney completed her pediatric dental residency training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She provides comprehensive oral health care for children and teens with special healthcare needs.

Outside of the office, Dr. Swinney enjoys spending time with her family and friends, volunteering within the community and exploring fun places to run with her running group in Orange and Chatham counties.
