Support Chatham Hospital

We Need Your Help

Support Chatham Hospital Download FormFor more than 50 years, community members have been able to come to Chatham Hospital knowing that they will receive quality health care in a warm, supportive environment.  We are committed to meeting the needs of patients, doctors, employees, and the evolving community.

Our present hospital was built in 1950 with additions in 1969 and 1997.
Renovations and construction have allowed Chatham Hospital to offer modern health care options for its patients.  However, we are now at a crossroads.  No amount of upgrading can turn a 1950’s infrastructure into a 21st Century health care facility.  We have made the decision to build a new hospital.

We need your help to retire the debt that the hospital will incur in the building and equipping a new state-or-the-art modern hospital.  We have set a goal for fundraising of $3,000,000.  This may seem like a large number, but with everyone’s help that can be achieved.   We have already received pledges of nearly $400,000.  We have also submitted grant applications to charitable foundations and endowments.

We have prepared a memorials and honors list of rooms and sections of the new hospital that a donor may select from to honor or memorialize a family, a family member, loved one, civic group, business or corporation.  A plaque will be prominently displayed in the new hospital identifying the honorees of each item.  If a donor wishes not to be identified, we will list it as an “anonymous donor”.  Our plan is to accept pledges that the donor may pay 100% up front or that may be paid out over four years.
