Welcome to our Chatham Hospital Web site – one of the many ways we share information about our facility and its services.

Chatham Hospital and UNC Health Care are partnering to bring nationally-recognized health care to Chatham County. Our partnership means you’ll continue to have access to advanced health care close to home, with the personal touch you’ve come to expect from us. The Chatham Hospital staff works together to provide the best possible care for every patient and to serve as a health resource and friend to the community.

You’ll find that Chatham Hospital and its staff are fully accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations with a Gold Seal of approval. To achieve that ranking and ensure we deliver the quality care the community deserves, our local Board of Directors continues to invest in our facilities and in a broad range of programs to serve your needs. We have a critical care unit, a medical-surgical floor and a day-surgery department. Our 5,500-square foot emergency room is staffed around the clock – serving more than 1,000 patients a month. In the months ahead, you’ll be seeing other new services and programs.

And now we are building a new hospital that is scheduled for completion in the late summer of 2008. This new facility will be located near the intersections of US Highways 64 and 421 in the new Central Carolina Business Campus. You can follow the construction progress by looking at the pictures of the new facility found on this Web site.

This is an exciting time for Chatham Hospital. We hope you will turn to us when you or a family member needs medical attention and that you will visit our Web site often as a source for valuable health information.
