Chatham Hospital and UNC Health Care have partnered to bring nationally-recognized health care to Chatham County. Our partnership means you'll continue to have access to advanced health care close to home, with the personal touch you've come to expect from us. The Chatham Hospital staff works together to provide the best possible care for every patient and to serve as a health resource and friend to the community.
You'll find that Chatham Hospital and its staff are fully accredited by the Joint Commission. To achieve that ranking and ensure we deliver the quality care the community deserves, our Board of Directors continues to invest in our facilities and in a broad range of programs to serve your needs. We have an intensive care unit, a medical-surgical floor and two operating rooms. Our emergency room is staffed around the clock – serving more than 1,000 patients a month. The “Our Services” section of this web page provides a more detailed description of our programs.
Our hospital opened in July 2008 and is located near the intersections of US Highways 64 and 421 in the Central Carolina Business Campus. In February 2011 we opened Chatham Medical Park, a medical office building located on our campus. This building houses the Chatham Hospital Business Office and Wellness Program (cardiac rehabilitation, diabetes management, physical therapy and occupational therapy). In addition there are physician offices and a Conference Center. You can see the pictures of both of these facilities on this Web site.
