NEW CHATHAM HOSPITAL OPENS

SILER CITY — Dennis Boone has a history at Catham Hospital. He was born there, he slept in an unused room for three months as one of their first ambulance drivers, and their surgeons coaxed his kidney back into working order several years ago. So he and his wife Jill, now Virginia Beach residents, were curious to see the hospital’s just-opened new location when they were back in town for a visit Monday.
